How did I fit that all into one evening??

I had the most fantastically productive day yesterday. Not so much in a work sense, but at home. Oh the flurry of activity! ALuCaRT came to visit, and we (finally) got my winter tires off. I've been feeling very conspicuous at work since all my coworkers pay special attention to these sorts of things, us working in the automotive industry and all. ["You STILL haven't taken your winters off, Tanzy?! What's WRONG with you?"]

I also bought a rake. Leafalicious! My next-door neighbor's lawn is much, much greener than mine and it is putting me to shame. You see what I have become? One of *those* suburbian monsters who need, crave, desire to be better than their neighbors.

I paid a whole extra dollar for a new combination lock just to get the one with the blue face. I am such a wild and reckless spender.

I also did laundry, made lunch for myself and ALuCaRT and prepped pasta-making ingredients for dinner with ALuCaRT's family tonight. ALuCaRT finished fixing my computer, so I also got caught up on my paperwork and bills and things. Hooray for getting organized!

Today, I am wearing the oddest outfit. Black khakis, black/grey/white-striped shirt with a black cardigan. That's not so bad in and of itself, but the strappy metallic sandals that I'm wearing do. not. match. at. all. Obviously, I did not look in the mirror before I left home. Good thing I happened to put on a similarly metallic flower ring too, which kind of balances out the sandals. Ugh. And my pants are too loose so I feel extra ughhhy. I am fashion-challenged, but I am also young and therefore fabulous so that's okay.
